Two Experiences with them and: - Missed Bolt on tire after tires were replaced. - Didn't lube or tune brakes after replacing them and rotors! Brakes wore down more and didn't feel right. I brought them to dealership and confirmed this. - Charged almost double what the dealer charges for rotors and brakes and didn't use OEM parts. - After two not so hot experiences; I decided to not go back any longer. I don't mind paying extra for better parts and supporting a local business: which is why I went here instead of the dealer. I decided to go with the dealership from now on.

I brought my 4 Runner in for an issue with my brake light. I thought it was a problem with the wiring harness and not the bulb. They called me later that day and said it was ready to go. When I picked it up they charged me almost nothing because there were able to fix it in minutes. They could have charged me a couple hundred and I would have never known it was a quick fix. Great example of integrity and not taking advantage of a customer. I'll definitely be going back!

FTA in Erie knocked it out of the park in so many ways for me. My 2012 Honda Pilot had brake noises. They evaluated the issue for free and price out a very reasonable repair cost. Due to the service on my vehicle taking up most of the day and my need for a vehicle, to do kiddo pick-ups/drop-offs, I was given a LOANER CAR free of charge. Not a coupon for a rental car at some other location, a just-cleaned-for-my-use in-house loaner car. The repair was completed the same day, but the FTA team did not rush me back. I brought the loaner care back at my own pace. Picked up my fully fixed vehicle. No sweat. Super easy. Brittany and Dave at FTA were critical throughout. They made the whole process easy and were super customer-service oriented. They followed up, they took my calls and never rushed me off the phone, they took notes about the issues to pass on to the tech, and they sent me status and "are you happy" follow up texts. My daughter actually left 2 of her precious "blankies" in the loaner car. Dave personally tracked them down, followed up with me, kept them safe, and he and Brittany even opened up after closing hours so that I could pick the blankies up on my schedule. That may not sound like a huge deal, but it really meant a lot to me and to my daughter. Any place can change your oil or service your brakes, etc. No place I have ever been has given me the special treatment and personalized service that FTA did. I highly recommend anyone needing a vehicle service to give FTA a chance and encourage anyone that needs the assistance to support this Town of Erie business--you will NOT be disappointed. We brought in our Explorer for a subtle but unusual noise coming from the engine. We suspected it was a transmission problem but the previous 2 Ford dealers that looked at it couldn't fine the problem. Kenny put the car through a thorough diagnostic and road test and isolated the problem to the torque converter however we were just barely over Ford's warranty. In showing great customer service, rather than only suggest this shop do repairs, Kenny recommend we explain our situation to Ford corporate. We followed his advice and were able to convince Ford (who finally confirmed the torque converter problem at a 3rd dealer) to cover half of the costs even though we were out of warranty.
